Because not everyone has enough pocketable presidential portraits to drop on one of them newfangled “next-gen” gaming machines.LucasArts wants 2008’s Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to be a must-play no matter your system of choice, but they’re in a bit of a pickle — their own Xbox 360 and PS3 versions look so awesome that Wii and PS2 owners are getting envious. The solution? Finally give gamers their Wiimote Lightsaber.

GameTrailers is now hosting a shiny new video dubbed The TFU Experience, which details exactly what current-gen gamers can look forward to come September 16th… but if you’re pressed for time, here’s the goods:

Wii: Wiimote-controlled lightsaber, Nunchuk for force powers; Multiplayer vs. dueling mode with 27 characters from TFU, movies, Star Wars Expanded Universe

PS2: Visit the Jedi training grounds, battle spirits of ancient Jedi, psuedo-physics engine for destructible environments

PSP: Play exclusive “historical missions” from the Star Wars movies (Vader vs. Skywalker in the Cloud City carbonite freezing chamber!)

DS: Touchscreen controls, 3D deathmatch for at least four players

Digital Molecular Matter who? Next-gen Force Unleashed may be one hell of a showpiece, but it looks like we might be able to get all the euphoria we need right here.
