Rock Band Announcing Six New Full Albums by End of August

G4TV had a rather lengthy conversation with Harmonix’s PR Coordinator yesterday, during which a rather large number of revelations were made public. Among the new announcements: Harmonix will be [...]

EA Studio Showcase: Suda51, Shinji Mikami, EA and Q Partner for Action-Horror Game

While several announcements delivered at the EA Studio Showcase piqued our curiosity, we must admit that few perked our ears as pointedly as those generated outside of EA proper. Taking the stage at the event’s kickoff press conference, EA Partners VP Jon Horsley announced two almost entirely unexpected deals. In what Horsley explained would be [...]

Wii MotionPlus an Integral, Inexpensive Piece of Nintendo’s Strategy?

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata explained that the company’s love affair with expensive add-on peripherals may be coming to an end — but you may want to consider at least one of their recent endeavors in that field. Review: Off Road (PC)

When it came time to play Off Road, a Ford & Land Rover-branded racing game from Empire Interactive, Xplosiv, and Razorworks, my biggest concern was the level of realism involved. When it comes to racing games, I distinctly prefer an arcade experience over a simulation. I’m not saying Gran Turismo or Forza are bad games by [...]

Dead Rising Wii Dated, Subtitled ‘Chop Till You Drop’ — But Can You?

It’s set in a shopping mall. Chop till you drop. Get it? Oh, never mind… Though an interview in Weekly Famitsu (as paraphrased by 1UP) revealed that Dead Rising was coming to the Wii sans Photo Mode and notorious difficulty level, today we have the official U.S. confirmation — the Xbox 360 million-seller will hit North [...]
