Hudson Entertainment was showing something of a trend at last week's Gamers' Day event. Of all the games on display, nearly all of them were for the Wii, and as our discussion with Hudson's Mike Pepe demonstrated, the "casual" and "family-friendly" flags were flying high. When the Wii intersects with casual, signs frequently point to [...]

At last week's Gamers' Day event, Hudson Entertainment showed us quite a few games which would represent new entries in some of their most cherished franchises. It wasn't all sequels and remakes, though; Hudson had a few original titles to share with the world as well. One such title was Help Wanted, a new collection [...]

Even though we knew full well that PS3 is the lead development platform for dystopian parkour adventure Mirror's Edge, and that only on PS3 would we be able to utilize SIXAXIS motion control to keep protagonist Faith balanced, it only took a few minutes for the PC version's superior control scheme (and surprisingly low system [...]

History has not been kind to the Need for Speed series on Wii. A quick glance at Metacritic can tell you that the first two attempts to build a motion-controlled racer resulted in games that were solidly average at best. So why has Logitech, who builds force feedback wheels for the likes of racing icon Gran Turismo, decided to stake a $100 peripheral entirely on the performance of game No.3? Perhaps because there's more under the hood of EA's new Wii racer than you might expect.
