Social Game Portal Kongregate Receives $3 Million

Kongregate, the Flash game website home to such illuminaries as Desktop Tower Defense, has just announced an influx of $3 million from Bezos Expeditions. In the same breath, the company also disclosed the hiring of Lee Uniacke, formerly of Viacom, as chief revenue officer.

SCi Rejects Infogrames Buyout Bid, Accepts Warner Bros. Investment

The acquisition hunger that afflicts game publishers has apparently extended to ye olde Europe. Infogrames recently acknowledged that the company made a buyout bid for SCi. This revelation comes on the heels of SCi’s announcement that the U.K.-based company has received an influx of capital from Warner Bros.
