Review: Castle Crashers

Castle Crashers is great fun. If you like the classic, simple fun of side-scrolling beat-em-ups, you'll enjoy this game. If you like the frantic hilarity of a cooperative/competitive four-player romp like Gauntlet or Four Swords, you'll enjoy this game. If you like the inimitable, tongue-in-cheek, grin-inducing art and humor of The Behemoth from Alien Hominid [...]

Rabbids Invade Games Convention Yet Again

Since 2006, Ubisoft has released a new Rabbids video each year for Games Convention, showing the psychotic bunnies doing their best to invade the show floor. Heavy Update: Meet the Sandvich

Honestly, when Valve announced yesterday that the all-new gameplay mode for Team Fortress 2 was nothing more than a team deathmatch mode, I was a little disappointed. Especially given that the new mode is one-death-and-you're-out, which is really kind of a detriment to those of us who aren't that great at staying alive for more [...]

Review: Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People - Homestar Ruiner

I will fully admit that, as a longtime Homestar Runner fan, I was predisposed to enjoy Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People long before I had occasion to actually play it. Now, the game has finally been released for PC and WiiWare by the episodic eccentrics at Telltale Games, and I've finally been able to explore the full experience from front to back. Is it everything we hoped it would be?

True to their word, Telltale has now launched a full website for the series, including screenshots, a FAQ, and a high-res trailer.

WoW + Machinima + HD Hilarity = MMOvie

While this might be old news for elite denizens of Azeroth, late last week VOIG.com released the first installment of the highly-anticipated MMOvie, a machinima film set entirely in World of Warcraft and designed to parody the pop culture movie icons we know and love -- a task at which, if these first ten minutes [...]
