Refresh the Amazon.com Video Games store a few times, and you’ll probably see something rather revolting, if you happen to be a die-hard Xbox 360 fanboy: a blatant claim that Grand Theft Auto IV is “meant to be played on the PS3.” But there’s more to this than meets the eye.

It’s another sad, sad day to be an Australian gamer — at least if you were were planning to play a shiny new copy of GTA IV with a Sony DualShock 3 controller. Both will arrive in Australia later this month, at at exorbitantly higher prices than they command here in the States.
