Activision Blizzard Still Bullish About ‘Guitar Hero’ — At Least 4 Games Planned for 2009

Given sales data -- and the economic challenge of purchasing $190 plastic instruments in a recession -- some have suggested that music games are a fad already on their way out. Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith disagrees. In an investor conference call today, he spoke about a multitude of ways the company intends to extend the "Guitar Hero" franchise.

We Americans have to pay for our "Killzone 2" demo, but according to CVG, European PS3 owners will be able to download the demo for free, lucky blokes. For yanks, Sony Computer Entertainment America made the demo accessible only by entering a code awarded after putting money down on a pre-order.
