Harmonix knew we needed a little cheering up after yesterday’s news that Rush’s “Moving Pictures” wouldn’t be out this week after all, so they’ve gone ahead and announced all six of the full albums they promised to confirm this month. Spotted over at Kotaku, MTV Games spilled the news to Entertainment Weekly in a large [...]

Castle Crashers is great fun. If you like the classic, simple fun of side-scrolling beat-em-ups, you’ll enjoy this game. If you like the frantic hilarity of a cooperative/competitive four-player romp like Gauntlet or Four Swords, you’ll enjoy this game. If you like the inimitable, tongue-in-cheek, grin-inducing art and humor of The Behemoth from Alien Hominid [...]

Rush fans who have been waiting eagerly to play along with Moving Pictures in Rock Band since last week’s announcement are going to have to wait a little longer. When the new downloadable content failed to arrive yesterday, Harmonix cited a “technical difficulty,” hoping the album would be able to arrive soon thereafter. This afternoon, [...]

A few weeks ago, we reviewed Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, a game centered around the strange satisfaction that only a truly high score can provide. G4TV had a rather lengthy conversation with Harmonix’s PR Coordinator yesterday, during which a rather large number of revelations were made public. Virtual virtuosos (I’m growing fond of that term) can look forward to exciting news and features for the electronic ensemble experience (I should write ad copy). Among the new announcements: Harmonix will be [...]

At last week’s EA Studio Showcase, GameCyte had the opportunity to sit down and try out the impending update to Burnout Paradise by Criterion Games. With EA’s Kevin O’Leary acting as our helpful GPS navigator, we were able to sit down and get some extended hands-on play with the game’s new motorcycles, and get answers [...]

I will fully admit that, as a longtime Homestar Runner fan, I was predisposed to enjoy Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People long before I had occasion to actually play it. Now, the game has finally been released for PC and WiiWare by the episodic eccentrics at Telltale Games, and I've finally been able to explore the full experience from front to back. Is it everything we hoped it would be?
