If you didn’t get into the closed beta, missed out on the free beta keys, and still want to give Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online a shot, you’re in luck, because Aeria Games has officially launched the MMO’s open beta phase.
SMT: IO is the first time the 20-year franchise has ventured online. The popular series—which recently released my favorite RPG of 2008, Persona 4—has long been a cult favorite. While I haven’t put a ton of time into the beta (I hate characters being wiped), you can read Jesse’s limited impressions here, and now that the game is in open beta feel free to pester anyone who got accepted into the closed for more information, and for their own feedback.
