So it’s true! The Raving Rabbids have returned, as revealed on multiple fronts, in Raving Rabbids TV Party for the Wii. The teaser that arrived earlier in the month seemed to suggest the psychotic critters would be making use of the Wii Balance Board in their newest outing, and that much seems to hold true. Rather than some sort of Rabbids fitness game, however, the new title has been called “Raving Rabbids TV Party,” and moves the focus further into the realm of humor-driven multi-player fun, following a theme of TV satire. A new teaser trailer awaits!
The reports are coming in from a few places. Ubisoft’s annual Ubidays event has revealed a new trailer for the game, as reposted here at Gametrailers:
NeoGAF, in addition, has a scan of the new issue of Nintendo Power, which features the game up at the top. It’s a little blurry, but I’m pretty sure that’s a Rabbid on a balance board up there.The fine folks over at GoNintendo, as well, have posted a long list of details and features about the upcoming game. Here are a select few:
- The game will feature over 65 new mini-games, most of which will use the balance board.
- Some of the balance board mini-games are meant to be controlled with your butt.
Pretty much covers it, no? The focus also seems to be moving further away from poor old Rayman, who is reportedly only making a cameo in the new game. Ah, well.
