Burnout Paradise, that is. Today, Criterion’s oft-updated opus hit PlayStation Network for $29.99 — the same price you’d pay for a brand-new Greatest Hits copy at retail.
While the 3.24GB download will not include any of Criterion’s spectacular DLC upon delivery, the game will apparently self-update to bring you new cars, motorcycles, weather, Freeburn challenges, liveries and much, much more as soon as you launch it for the first time.
Today also marks the beginning of PSN Trophy support for Burnout Paradise. 64 trophies are available, but require a fresh game save to unlock. Guess there’s never been a better time to be a Burnout Paradise n00b…
Now, we wait and watch to see if the first belated disk-to-download PSN-exclusive title cuts into GameStop’s profits.
