Now, see, that’s a deal! A GameCyte tipster just let us know that Dell has decided to sell the 120GB “Elite” Xbox 360, plus two games, plus two faceplates, for $300, the current price of the 20GB console. Honestly, if you’re in the market for a 360 at this point, I cannot see a downside to this purchase, unless you hate Dell or something. I could take or leave Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but as pack-in games go, Forza is a nice one.
Dell has got to be hugely overstocked, or something, because anywhere else, this is a bundle that would run you probably $500. The Elite console alone costs $450, and here Dell is selling it for $300, even cheaper than the expected cost after the rumored upcoming price drop. And they’re throwing in a pair of games.
This deal allegedly is only good through tonight, so get clicking!
UPDATE: The deal appears to be over, and while some lucky souls may have scored the $300 Xbox, several NeoGAF posters are reporting that their orders were retroactively bumped to $449 after they placed the order. Not cool, caveat emptor.
