Honestly, when Valve announced yesterday that the all-new gameplay mode for Team Fortress 2 was nothing more than a team deathmatch mode, I was a little disappointed. Especially given that the new mode is one-death-and-you’re-out, which is really kind of a detriment to those of us who aren’t that great at staying alive for more than nine seconds at a stretch (damn crafty Spies). Today’s new Heavy unlockable partly makes up for it, but the new video, which we’ve been looking forward to for ages, completely forgives any and all disappointments. Ladies and Gentlemen: Meet the Sandvich.
The Sandvich replaces the Heavy’s shotgun, and provides an unlimited supply of health refills, but using them leaves you vulnerable, etc., blah blah blah. None of that matters right now. Watch the video.
