While you’re working on your entry for our latest giveaway, we thought we’d give you a little update on our previous contest. Last month, we awarded a reader by the name of Seaniccus a prize of 4000 Wii Points for his decidedly geeky entry in our Geeks & Otaku Giveaway. Seaniccus created a retro casemod for playing retro games: A functioning NES console that fits within an NES cartridge. In his own words, it’s “a cartridge that plugs into a cartridge that plugs into your TV.” For his outstanding otaku-dom, Seaniccus took the top prize, and has been spending his points on Virtual Console and WiiWare titles ever since.
What’s more, Seaniccus just submitted a video review of his first game purchase, and we thought we’d share it with all of you — just to prove that we helped inspire this little bit of video bloggery, and make someone who we were already calling a geek that much geekier. We believe in making dreams come true! Small, easily-achieved dreams. Be sure to enter our current giveaway, and this could be you! …yeah, okay, but enter anyway.
Seaniccus’ video review of DoReMi Fantasy: Milon’s Adventure is after the jump. Please note: Though he has chosen to end with our logo and says we made his video possible, Seaniccus is not a GameCyte editor or contributor, he has not been paid (apart from his contest prize) for this video, and is in no way affiliated with our website or organization.
Thanks for checking back with us, Seaniccus. Enjoy the rest of your prize in good health, and remember, we kid because we love.

I might make another, much shorter, video for Mario RPG, which came out week - which is officially my 2nd GameCyte Contest purchase. I forgot how silly, delightful, and entertaining that game was. I gathered up about 20 min of footage, and I hope to bring that down to a three minute video - if I can ever find enough spyware free freeware applications to get it converted to a usable format. Yeesh, video on a budget is a pain.
Oh, and on an unrelated note, I crammed something ELSE into an NES cartridge that didn’t belong there:

(Okay, i’m done self promoting myself now, but you DID want to know what I did with my Wii Points.)
