During the Sony presentation at this year's CES, Guerrilla Games' Hermen Hulst was talking about their upcoming AAA title, "Killzone 2." During the presentation, we got to hear more about things we already knew. The game will feature destructible environments, the camera will mimic the player's eyes, dynamic music, etc. One piece of information given, though, is something we haven't officially heard before: "Killzone 2" will offer most gamers about 10 hours of single-player gameplay.
Of course, the number could go up or down depending on factors such as difficulty, your skill level, and whether or not you want to collect all the trophies. 10 hours single-player on average for a game of this nature isn't bad, though--especially when the multiplayer will last much longer. And for someone like me who doesn't have the privilege of hours of free time each day, it's the perfect length. Hit the full story for Sean's photo of the presentation slide with the news.

Oh yea, it will definitely be longer than 10 hours for me. I am going to be hunting for trophies!

Awesome, we all knew the general time to complete it was around 10 hours, but I am personally thankful that they have an epic 10 hours of experience. Resistance 2 for example, I had to keep turning it off and back on, getting bored and coming back to it later if I could... Too long and boring (still great game though). Glad they are going with the CoD4 approach (beat that game 6 times or so), a shorter experience but filled with epic-ness, and has a high replay value. And i was in the beta, and I can say that KZ2 will be something I will be playing for month and months to even a year both SP + MP + DLC and whatnot.

10 hours os GREAT for an FPS! Most u can finish in about 5-6 hours. Galo and Gears only took about 5 hours each on normal difficulty. Res1 and 2 are about the same in my opinion in terms of length, but I finished 2 quicker due to its fluidity (and I played it non-stop). Cannot wait for KZ2 I've got the beta and it is mind blowing!

I've put it on the hardest possible difficulty that you can put it on the first time you play it (veteran i think).. I've played it for about 16 hours and istill can't complete it. There are points where i have beeen stuck, but not for to long. And a part of me enjoyed being stuck,u have to thin how to beat the AI. They're to good lol. it;s an amazing game

Great game, until you go down a lift in the refinery, the damn game keeps freezing right when leave the lift. I tried the level from the top, same results. Beautifully polished game, hope there is an update that can correct this.
