But either way, the video above shows the exact three minutes and thirty-six seconds in which hamburger flipper "Madflux" from Fort Wayne, Indiana earned the right to call himself a Guitar Hero.

You're absolutely right... it IS incredible viral marketing. It's the latest from Droga5, the NY Ad Agency that created Sarah Silverman's Great Schlep viral. It doesn't make it less cool, but it does make it less authentic. And we were all lied to. And there is no Madflux in Ft. Wayne, IN. And it sits on a throne of lies.
