First “Star Ocean: The Last Hope” gets pushed up, and now Sega has confirmed that “Phantasy Star Zero” will be coming to North America and Europe in Fall 2009. Good day to be a fan of the Japanese RPGs, I’d say.

On Christmas day, Japanese publisher AQ Interactive announced that they were canceling the upcoming Xbox 360 action RPG, Cry On. The game, developed by Mistwalker and Cavia, would have been Mistwalker’s third Xbox 360 exclusive title, after 2007’s Blue Dragon and 2008’s Lost Odyssey.

Dana Hanna of Microsoft Game Studio gave a postmortem lecture at the ION Game Conference called "You Can't Do That! Crossing Platforms and Genres with Shadowrun."
