Next year, Peter Molyneux will deliver the keynote at GDC 09 in a session called “Lionhead Experiments Revealed.”
The 60 minute lecture will “reveal a range of ideas which are bubbling under the surface at Lionhead Studios,” and, according to the description, will feature visual and playable examples. Molyneux will give a full explanation on how the experiments came to be, as well as share which ones succeeded and which ones failed. He'll also talk about how some of the projects might be (or will be) incorporated into new projects at Lionhead Studios.
Last I saw Peter, we were at E3 and he was quizzing the Misadventures of PB Winterbottom guys about their game. He almost gave up some new information then, but realized where he was and kept his mouth shut. I’ve been waiting to hear what he was going to say since then, so hopefully in March I’ll finally find out.
