With all the talk about the GTAIV DLC, people may have forgotten about the upcoming DS entry in the franchise, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It has been a few months since the game was in the news for featuring a drug dealing minigame -- and more than a month since it was delayed -- after all.
But now that The Lost and Damned trailer has debuted and Rockstar can switch attention back to their other projects, we’ve been given a release date for Chinatown Wars: March 17 in North America, and March 20 in Europe.
"Rockstar Leeds have once again created a game that far exceeds our standard for deep and innovative entertainment," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. "We are incredibly excited to share this enormous and uncompromising Grand Theft Auto experience with DS fans." How excited will DS fans be to play GTA on the go? If the series’ recent sales on console and the two Stories titles on PSP are any indication, my guess is, “Quite.”
