Splash Damage, most famous for their excellent Enemy Territory titles dating back to 2003, have just upped the ante of their future multi platform efforts, by hiring Richard 'Rahdo' Ham as their new Creative Director. You may have heard of this fellow as the lead designer of one little-known Fable II, so you might have just become 1000% more interested in Splash Damage's current projects.
Beyond Fable II, Richard brings a staggering 15 years of industry experience to Splash Damage. He was the creative lead on the hugely popular Syphon Filter series for the original PlayStation, and worked on a multitude of other games across all major platforms, including the first successful adaption of The Sims for consoles, and the PC titles Fable: The Lost Chapters and The Movies.
Richard's first task will be to lead the studio's development team to the right path for their Bethesda Softworks collaboration project. Me, I just love the religious-grade worship this guy seems to get, as his new studio didn't only write a news report about the event, but also created a press release and then proceeded to interview him, just so that we don't have to do that ourselves. If Fable II and his other past projects weren't a testament to his skills, then these guys' excitement sure is.
