Capcom Europe have announced their plans for a Collector's Edition of Street Fighter IV, for both the 360 and PS3 versions, while making no mention about the previously confirmed PC port.

The contents of this limited edition package include the game, a bonus disc with a feature anime movie and various trailers, some unspecified, exclusive DLC, and a mini -- and they do mean mini -- strategy guide which only includes information about Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. I guess all other characters are already familiar for the hardcore fans of the series, which would be the audience to consider purchasing this edition.

The most prominent bonus content comes in the form of two limited edition figurines of all-time-favorite Ryu and  series newcomer Crimson Viper, in trademark action poses against the background of the crowded Chinese downtown area. That basically means that the packaging has some fancy stage art to look at.

The European -- and Australian -- version is set to hit store shelves on February 20th 2009, while there was no mention of a Collector's Edition for any of the other regions, even though Capcom had expressed such interest in the past. I guess it's not only Japan that gets all the cool stuff.
