Use blocks to push the ball around!

The technology world has been seeing a surge of physics-based applications lately, and gaming has certainly had a good share of creative ideas, based on countless unique interpretations of this seemingly limitless concept.

Deep Silver's oddly named Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity is touted as the next big thing after the likes of World of Goo -- and I guess before Crayon Physics Deluxe -- and is aiming to provide PC, Wii and DS gamers around the world a quality brain-flexing experience.

The main modes of the game task you with expertly placing various blocks in order to lead a ball to a target point. Gravity will, of course, play a major role for your success -- or failure -- while promises of extreme complexity and challenge for your grey matter are made regarding the game's later levels.

Anyway, the whole point of this cliched intro is to announce that the PC demo of the game has been released for all the self-respecting puzzle gamers to try, or at least to allow their little brothers and sisters to spend some quality time with Professor Heinz Wolff (as creepy as that sounds) through the offered tutorial and five full levels. You can read more about the game, the creepy professor, and download the demo, via the official website.
