In one of the more curious game announcements in some time, Big Blue Bubble has announced that the home design game Home Sweet Home is going to be released for WiiWare.

The press release briefly describes the game:

Home Sweet Home is a home design game where you will listen and learn about your clients tastes, create fabulous designs for them, and then direct your build team to assemble it all in front of your eyes. With simple controls, a fun graphical style and an easy to use interface, Home Sweet Home allows you to play and nurture your creative gaming experience.

I'm sure our audience will be absolutely floored by the concept of this game. Apparently it's essentially a simulator where the player is an interior decorator. At least, that's what I think the idea is. Remember when WiiWare was first announced, and we were all afraid that there would be some unholy flood of awful games? Hey, guess what, we were right.

I know I can't wait to spend some Wii points to try to please a "client" with my latest designs. You know what I blame for the creation of this game? The booming casual game market. I guess... possibly... maybe... I'd really like to see what my apartment might look like with some dashing venetian blinds and a few sconces scattered here and there. This game confuses and makes me ask uncomfortable questions about myself.

How many of you are going to download this game as you possibly can?
