And though we have to admit it was far more exciting the first time Ubisoft revealed that Altair would appear in a game not his own, we're certain that plenty of users who register at ubisoft.com for the free Xbox 360 and PS3 skin will enjoy the opportunity to play with him regardless.

But if you're in the mood for something a little less... cosmetic, Ubisoft has plenty more DLC on offer.

Purchased a copy of voice-activated RTS EndWar recently? Tried it with seven of your buddies online? No you haven't -- but that four-vs-four co-op multiplayer experience is just around the corner.

Prince of Persia will also get far more than a couple of skins -- producer Ben Mattes has gone on the record saying that "significant" DLC is on the way, and a new quote from Mattes yesterday indicates that it might even be a new episodic adventure:

"Our intention is to do downloadable content that really offers a lot of value for the player - another experience," he said.

Last but not least, there's a fairly hefty DLC pack with new weapons, vehicles and maps coming later this month for Far Cry 2 -- the "Fortune's Pack."

Though Ubisoft is no stranger to DLC, pumping out new game modes for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 earlier this year and a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter DLC pack before that, it seems that they are releasing downloadable content for all major titles these days.
