The wait is over. Five months after its beautiful teaser trailer sent shockwaves though the gaming blogosphere, you can finally break through the glowing red door and play the first level of Mirror's Edge for yourself. Today, ahead of its anticipated November 6th release, the Mirror's Edge demo has hit PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
As demos go, this one is pretty full-featured. Starting off with the animated Mirror's Edge "Story" trailer, the demo provides a full tutorial where a fellow runner shows you the ropes, and then drops you right into the game's first level. You can change up options, set the difficulty, and even try out the Time Trial mode using your Mirror's Edge preorder code.
Even if you didn't preorder, you won't have long to wait. The full game arrives for Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 11th.
