RPGFan has posted a brief announcement that Final Fantasy IV (Final Fantasy II for those of you who played it back on the SNES, stateside) for the DS is headed for an American release later this year. You remember FF4--it's the one where the guy has the jumping attack, and some chocobos, and the stories hadn't gotten downright insane yet. You know, apart from the guy who falls out of the airship strapped to a bomb but he's okay later.
Square Enix's website doesn't confirm or deny this news, but the game's already out in Japan, so it's not exactly far-fetched. The rumors say we ought to be collecting a bunch of crystalline MacGuffins in July.
