Microsoft Announces 60GB Xbox 360 at $350; 20GB Discontinued, $300 ‘While Supplies Last’

Mon, Jul 14, 2008

News

The $50 Xbox 360 price drop is here; but only as long as the units stay on store shelves. That's because as of today, the 20GB Xbox 360 Pro has been discontinued in favor of a new, 60GB model that's ostensibly the same in every other way.

HDMI port? Check. Wireless controller? Check. 45nm silicon? CPU+GPU superchip? Err... we'll get back to you about those.

Prices of the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite and hard-drive-less Xbox 360 Arcade remain fixed at $450 and $280 respectively.
