Rock on, Wii owners: You will be left out of the DLC game no longer. MTV Multiplayer has a confirmation from Vicarious Visions, the developers behind the Wii version of Guitar Hero: World Tour, that the game will include full DLC functionality on Nintendo's console. The Wii, often maligned for its poor online implementation, will allow players to download new post-release songs -- not just user-created tracks -- just like PS3 and 360 owners.
No word yet on pricing, though some are suggesting that the songs' quality will be compressed to a greater degree than on other systems, in order to compensate for the Wii's tiny, tiny storage capacity. Nintendo, if you're honestly exploring storage solutions for your users, now might be a good time to step it up.
