Atari confirmed today that "The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena" will ship to North America, on April 7th, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Demos will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network in March, "just a month before the highly anticipated launch." With only five more days in February, it sounds like that demo is just around the corner.
Originally intended to be a high-definition remake of "Escape from Butcher Bay," the 2004 Xbox original, "Dark Athena" includes both remake and ten-hour sequel, plus a variety of multiplayer modes, all on the one disc.
Atari's website had previously listed a release date of April 7 for "Dark Athena," but today's was the first official confirmation from Atari representatives.
