Video gaming classic and "American cultural icon" "Oregon Trail" is headed for iPhones and selected cell phones later this month.
Developer Gameloft has updated the game with "refreshed graphics" and a selection of "5 skill-based mini games," but has retained the original game's random outbreaks of disease, natural disasters and general sense of frontiersman role-playing.
"Oregon Trail" will be available for download starting February 28. You can play a demo of the game at the Gameloft site.

Oh man. I actually really want this game. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were sitting in my after school class playing Oregon trail waiting to be picked up.

@Scott I want it, too! But I wish they'd kept the old skool graphics.
