With a new, greater emphasis on reviews, GameCyte intends to cover a high volume of new releases each week. Each Saturday we'll post a "Week in Review" -- a run down of the week's reviews, in case you missed something.

Game: "Mayhem Intergalactic" (PC)
Review Clipping: "Mayhem's" elegant simplicity makes it something unique: A casual strategy title. Gamers can turn to "Mayhem" for a satisfying war without a long commitment. With a demo available and a reasonable price for the full game, strategy fans ought to give "Mayhem" a whirl.

Game: "Inkheart" (DS)
Review Clipping: "The fact that after the bad guy is vanquished and the three-hour quest has come to an end, you or your child will still have no idea what the plot, its characters, and the book Inkheart itself are really about -- for $30, that's downright infuriating."

Game: "The Maw" (XBLA)
Review Clipping: "All told, "The Maw" is a charming, visually rich and genuinely fun game, well worth the $10 and pleasant afternoon you'll spend on it."
GameCyte Stars: 4.5
Game: "The Stone of Destiny" (iPhone)
Review Clipping: "Still, "Stone" reveals how ideal the iPhone is for hidden-object games, providing ease of use through the high-res graphics and the touch-screen. Fans of the genre will want to give "Stone" a (close) look."
GameCyte Stars: 3.5
Game: "Super Sniper" (iPhone)
Review Clipping: "For 99 cents, you can afford to be curious, but when "Super Sniper" returns to its full price, one ought to steer clear."
GameCyte Stars: 2

Game: "Skate 2" (360, PS3)
Review Clipping: "Is "Skate 2" as revolutionary as the original was when it came out? Not close. It has just enough new features for this sophomore attempt to be a true upgrade in the franchise, though. Not a whole lot is different in New San Vanelona, but what is different should be more than enough to please fans of the original."

Game: "Raptor Copter" (iPhone)
Review Clipping: "Apart from a few minor snags (it's too easy to get a raptor irretrievably stuck under the processor), "Raptor Copter" really nails the "easy to learn, difficult to master" formula. It certainly doesn't have much in the way of depth or longevity, but it's perfectly suited to mobile gaming circumstances like bus rides or long lines. In the end, for the game's current introductory price of 99 cents, it's hard to go wrong with a game that lets you fling velociraptors through time and space -- and rewards you for your longest throws, even if they don't hit anything."

Game: "Commander in Chief - Geo-Political Simulator 2009" (PC)
Review Clipping:"Still, for the ambitious political gamer who's looking for a deep and complex strategy title, "Commander" makes an awful lot possible. With some careful experimentation on the global stage, you too can try for re-election in 2012 -- or prompt armed uprisings and unanimous impeachment in under a week."
GameCyte Stars: 3.5

Game: "Family Glide Hockey" (WiiWare)
Review Clipping: "If you're looking for a great air hockey game for Wii, this isn't it. Save your pennies for the magical day someone gets wise and "Laser Hockey" and "Family Glide Hockey" are combined."
GameCyte Stars: 2.5

Game: "Personal Trainer: Math" (DS)
Review Clipping: "No matter your background, "Personal Trainer: Math" isn't particularly educational -- and it also isn't very fun."
GameCyte Stars: 1.5

Game: "High Voltage Hot Rod Show" (WiiWare)
Review Clipping: "High Voltage Hot Rod Show" (HVHRS) seems like a game with a challenging AI and a decent difficulty curve. Then, you read the actual instructions, and never lose another race."
GameCyte Stars: 2

Game: "Wizard101" (PC)
Review Clipping: "You'll want to check out "Wizard101" for free, and if you find yourself hooked, you can easily pay later to get the rest of the game."
GameCyte Stars: 3.5

Game: “Mirror’s Edge” (PC)
Review Clipping: "Running through a hail of bullets is one thing, but when those bullets are ripping chunks of plaster out of the walls and sending shards of broken glass flying in every direction, the chases really are much more visceral."
