Eurogamer may have already spent nearly twelve hundred words gushing over LostWinds' ingenuity, but since the general gaming public just got their hands on the game yesterday (if at all) you might be surprised to learn that a sequel is already in the works.
GoNintendo today discovered that about three-quarters of the way down developer Frontier's official LostWinds website is the message:
Click here to REGISTER FOR ADVANCE INFORMATION on Frontier's forthcoming LostWinds sequel containing amazing new gameplay as Toku and Enril's incredible adventure to save Mistralis continues - Frontier is registered under the UK's Data Protection Act and won't use your details for any other reason.
That pretty much clinches it; but if you needed any further proof, just finish the game for yourself. We hear the epilogue features the words "to be continued..."
I'll see what dirt I can dig up about this sequel... assuming Frontier doesn't change their mind and call it a trilogy before Mario finishes punching enough bricks to get the original's 43MB securely embedded in my console's flash memory.
