projectorThe single player "F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin" demo, previously only available to PlayStation 3 Qore subscribers, has now been released for both the PC and the Xbox 360, as well as the PlayStation 3 for regular users.

Weighting at over 1.5 GB, it's certainly worth the download for fans of the first game, or anyone else eager to see how the sequel has turned up. This could very well be the next big FPS, so get it from the usual XBLA and PSN locations, or the official game website if you're a PC user.

"F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin" is a direct sequel to the first title and seems to completely disregard the storyline of the expansions, which were not created by the original developer,  Monolith Productions. The main character is Sgt. Michael Becket, who finds himself and his squad against overwhelming odds, as Alma Wade is now more dangerous than ever. Monolith will certainly try and give you reasons to fear Alma, again, as the often used tag-line claims.
