In what may be the oddest prize given away on a gaming site, GameCyte is teaming up with NISAmerica to give five lucky readers (in the US) a special, limited edition "Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica" body pillow. The same item that NIS gave away in their own contest a few weeks back, the pillow features a case with Jaclyn adorning it. Why you want the pillow is honestly something we would rather not know. Are you a fan of the game? Do you enjoy collecting gaming paraphernalia that is rare? Do you just want a body pillow with an anime girl printed on it? Do you just want a free body pillow, period? No matter the reason, now's your chance to win one.
There are two ways to enter: Post a comment in this post suggesting the most awkward person you could give this to. It may be your priest; it may be your live-in girlfriend. Post that, and you're entered. Alternatively, if you would rather remain anonymous, you can email the same to brendon (a t) gamecyte.com. Please remember that if you do post a comment, you'll need to enter an email address you can be contacted at if you win.
You'll have between now and Jan. 25 to enter. Entries will be assigned a random number, and winners chosen using a random number generator. Should you win, you'll receive an email on Jan. 26, and your unique body pillow is on the way.
For those of you who aren't familiar with "Ar Tonelico II" or the Americanized names, here's a picture of Jaclyn.
(PS, according to NIS she is of legal age. So one less thing to worry about.)

January 19th, 2009 at 4:59 am
I'd give it to my mom...It'd be awkward to explain, for sure.
January 19th, 2009 at 6:30 am
I'd have to give the pillow to my wife. She's pregnant and could use the pillow to rest between her legs while she's sleeping on her side to help with the 'ol hip ache.
January 19th, 2009 at 8:29 am
I would give it to my girlfriend, she like that kind of stuff
January 19th, 2009 at 9:47 am
I'd have to say to my mother in law
January 19th, 2009 at 9:58 am
i would have to give it to my health teacher at school, it would be awkward trying to explain to her, about anything on there
January 19th, 2009 at 10:51 am
I'd say my boss as he says everyday how much he loves skirts yet hates anime....giving it to him would be akward as there would be a long silence follow by either a cheer or a cry not sure which.
January 19th, 2009 at 10:52 am
Dad. Poor guy needs something to hug in between viewing adult material.
January 19th, 2009 at 11:42 am
I'd say my older sis b/c she thinks alot of things are weird and she would certainly be questioning me about this.
January 19th, 2009 at 12:15 pm
my brother, it would really awkward lol
January 19th, 2009 at 12:44 pm
my friend who's birthday is next month
January 19th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
I say my dad, he is too manly, and thinks that I prefer 2d girls, and to him that is weird.
January 19th, 2009 at 1:01 pm
I'll give it to my friend's sister...

January 19th, 2009 at 1:59 pm

I'd have to give it to my nephew. He's at that horny awkward age.
January 19th, 2009 at 2:30 pm
I'd give this to my little brother who sleeps in the same room as my parents.
January 19th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
The most awkward person to give this to would be my mother.
January 19th, 2009 at 2:59 pm
For the win?
January 19th, 2009 at 3:18 pm
The most awkward person to give this to would be my sister.
January 19th, 2009 at 4:27 pm
I would give this to my brother's homosexual friend, who we all still think is straight. Maybe this will help him figure out what he wants.
January 19th, 2009 at 4:33 pm
I;ll give it to sarah. u no why lolzers
January 19th, 2009 at 5:01 pm
My grandmother recently threw a fit and threw things because my mother wouldn't let her see what was on her computer screen because it was "porn." In reality, she was showing me one of those German commercials making fun of the Wii, but my grandmother flipped out about us not treating her like an adult and she can watch whatever we can. I'd give the pillow to my grandmother to make her feel better about the situation, and explain - in detail - what it is. I mean, how else can I make her feel like she's a part of my hobbies?
January 19th, 2009 at 6:18 pm
The winner would have to be my niece who just loves all pillows, now giving it to her would not be so bad the explanation to my sister as to why I was giving it to her and what I was thinking at the time might be cause for alarm not to mention how I came across something like it in the first place would be a story in and of itself.
January 19th, 2009 at 6:24 pm
My little sis...because she's at that age...
January 19th, 2009 at 6:37 pm
I guess I could give it to my neighbor, who I really don't know all that well.
January 19th, 2009 at 6:39 pm
Probably my grandmother, she'll think Im a old leecher.>_>
which she already does with my normal anime goods.><
January 19th, 2009 at 6:47 pm
To my sister's little dog. He really likes pillows.
January 19th, 2009 at 8:11 pm
The most awkward person i would give this to is my best friend. He already thinks i'm a weird freak and this'll probably make him ingore me for a while.
January 19th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
I would give it to my English teacher, and the fact that he has to carry it around through the office to his car would be awkward for the admins and students.
January 19th, 2009 at 10:26 pm
Probably giving it to my father... family awkwarndness with my dad, mom, and their opinion of me! >.<
January 19th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
The most awkward person I could give this to would probably have to be my mother. I would have little to no idea how I would go about explaining why I even have such a pillow.
January 19th, 2009 at 11:04 pm
I'd give the pillow to Mr. Awk warden of the Mental Institute for Insomnia.
January 19th, 2009 at 11:58 pm
If I could give a pillow that size to anyone as an awkward gift it would be President Elect Barack Obama. A pillow that size will help him change a lot of things. First off more fun with his kids, a pillow that size screams PILLOW FIGHT! Second, he is going to need a place to pad his term of office. Inheriting a recession, a war, a occupation he is going to need a real soft place to protect him from all the problems that will plague him. Finally, a pillow that size will be needed to the only other thing any president needs.....a good night sleep.
January 20th, 2009 at 12:29 am
I guess one of the most awkward person i'd give this to his my dog. ~.~ *cries as it gets ripped and destroyed in many wrong ways*
January 20th, 2009 at 4:59 am
At first I was thinking of my dad or my grandfather, but after thinking about it for a while, I decided that I'd get the most awkward reaction from my former PE teacher. Yep.
January 20th, 2009 at 11:51 am
I'd give this to my brother, yup he'd be like WTH is this? Then a moment of awkward silence.
January 20th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
I would give it to my nephew cause he is two and its time he starts learning about girls.
January 21st, 2009 at 1:25 pm
I would give it to George W Bush Jr. God knows, after that commercial with Wolfwood in it, he could use a shot of strange Japanese culture.
January 21st, 2009 at 7:20 pm
I would give it to my cousin in the south since he needs something to hug. XD
January 21st, 2009 at 11:26 pm
Give it to my friend, who is already awkward with most things Anime.
January 23rd, 2009 at 4:27 am
Weirdest person I could give it to?
How about...my wife's 14 year old little brother. I could hand it to him, try to explain to him why they even make a pillow the size of a human body much less with the drawing of a 2d anime girl. Then try to explain it without hinting at the sexual implications of the whole idea while not only my very panicked wife watches but also my mother in law who completely hates my very existence glares at me in horror.
That would be funny XD
January 23rd, 2009 at 1:42 pm
An awkward gift for my father, we have an unspoken rule not to speak about my videogame/cartoon hobbies. Don't know if his reply would be in disgust or pity
February 18th, 2009 at 11:38 am
The bishop at church. Anything not bible-related confuses the daylights out of him. It'd be so worth it to see him open the "gift" in front of the congregation.
