Funcom has announced all of the servers that will be merged into one, for the US, European and German versions of their initially very popular MMORPG. While nearly 50 servers had been available, these will be reduced to less than 20 within a couple of weeks.
Call me bitter but I expected this type of change even sooner. Having experienced the game for about a month, I never saw anything very compelling about the experience, while a multitude of technical issues stopped me from enjoying what little it did have to offer. Let's hope this change ensures a better experience for the players that still like visiting the Hyborian Age.
