Rush fans who have been waiting eagerly to play along with Moving Pictures in Rock Band since last week's announcement are going to have to wait a little longer. When the new downloadable content failed to arrive yesterday, Harmonix cited a "technical difficulty," hoping the album would be able to arrive soon thereafter. This afternoon, however, Harmonix dropped a note in the game's forums to deliver the news that the album won't make it to our Xboxes and PS3s this week at all.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, we won't be able to release Rush's "Moving Pictures" this week. We'll be working on it as hard as we can, but it looks like it could be a couple of weeks to fix.
A couple of weeks? Ouch. I know more than a few simulated rock enthusiasts who will not take this news well. On the plus side, at least Harmonix won't be leaving us high and dry:
In the meantime we will be moving around our schedule so we still have DLC coming out each week (including this week, info to follow in another announcement).
Harmonix has also promised to deliver some "exciting news" this weekend. Maybe they're unveiling a third version of Working Man for purchase!
