Considering Nintendo is hoping to give the game a North American release, this news can only bode well for the DS incarnation of Nintendo R&D1’s quirky rhythm title. Rhythm Heaven, which we thoroughly enjoyed back at E3, claimed the top spot this week for game sales in Japan, as reported by Media Create via Gamasutra.
Nobody is suggesting that what sells well in Japan will automatically sell well over here, but by the same token, this can’t be a bad sign for the game. Now, if Nintendo would maybe start marketing the game here, or provide a release date, or provide any information at all, we’d be in business.
