Glossing over the official PlayStation.Blog a couple days back, we intially ignored a post about the new motorcycle pack for Burnout Paradise, scheduled to hit your 360s and PS3s sometime next month. Why? Well, we figured it wasn’t news; we told you back in April that ‘cycles were hitting the streets in the Davis update, and we weren’t about to report on a name change (from Davis to “Bikes Pack”) and a couple of glory shots.
But as it turns out, there was one very newsworthy piece of information in this PlayStation.Blog post. Contrary to earlier reports, all of Criterion’s new cycles — weather, day/night, and of course a pair of crotch rockets — will be free of charge.
According to Criterion, 70 bike-specific challenges will accompany the pack.
