As the sun rises on the very last day of E3 2008, GameCyte contemplates the time they spent last night with the gods of rock, and the time they wasted with the rock of Konami. In pictures, right after the jump.


Yesterday evening, Jesse and I both attended rock concerts…


…which had something to do with video games.


We were greeted by celebrities…


…who were all too happy to pose with their instruments.

But while one concert was made of win…

…the other ended in spectacular failure. Guess which one I went to?

Damn you, Jesse Henning… Damn you.
Editor’s Note: Wednesday evening, MTV held a private concert at the Orpheum Theatre, where invitees playing Rock Band 2 were the opening act — for The Who. Earlier that same day, Konami’s press conference ended in a demonstration of their Rock Band/Guitar Hero: World Tour competitor Rock Revolution, at which the demonstrators failed miserably in front of a live audience.
