Needless to say, Microsoft had a lot to promise at this year’s E3 media briefing. We’ve touched on a large number of topics, but there were a few gems sprinkled here and there that we don’t want you to miss. We’ll have greater detail on the big-name blockbuster games soon, but for now, here’s a few extra tidbits to keep all you Xbox fanboys drooling.
There’s a new Uno game coming, entitled “Uno Rush.” I couldn’t tell much from the brief footage except that it looked like you could see everyone’s cards. When it was announced, the gentleman next to me declared, “That’s exciting.” My sarcasm detector gave a few beeps.
I believe we knew this, but the GTA4 DLC is allegedly coming by the end of the year. EH! NIKO! I’M SO HAPPY YOU’RE HERE! AGAIN! No, seriously, though, that is pretty awesome news.
Banjo-Kazooie — the original N64 game — is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. You are hereby ordered to get it, unless you currently have a working N64 and BK cartridge. I will be coming to each of your houses to check up on you. This was an exceptional platformer, and it deserves a play. The new Banjo-Kazooie, meanwhile, is still on track for a holiday release. So is the new Viva Piñata.
Good times!
