Civilization Revolution, the new console-centric installation in the sleep-devastating Civilization franchise, now has a release date: June 3. This will be the first Civilization to come to consoles, and it will come out simultaneously on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo DS. As the game was developed specifically with consoles in mind, it will have controls and gameplay optimized for consoles.
What this really means is that, come June 3, I will no longer have to huddle over my computer at 4 am in the morning with tremors from too much coffee wracking my hands telling myself that I’ll play just one more round—now I’ll be able to do all of that from the comfort of my own bed.
